Tairua Community Shuttle
The Tairua Care and Friendship Club operates 3 vehicles , 2 SUV’s and a car which are used to provide the community with a range of services. These include transporting people to and from hospitals, doctors and specialist appointments in Thames, Hamilton, Auckland areas and for shopping. Taking locals to the weekly Tuesday luncheon is provided by the Club at the Community Hall (all welcome). The Shuttle drivers are all volunteers offering a door to door service.
