JUNIOR SURF REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN!

Registrations are now open for the 2026/27 Tairua SLSC Junior Surf Programme!
We’re looking forward to another great summer on the beach, building water confidence, surf skills, friendships and, importantly, developing the next generation of Tairua lifeguards.
This year there are two steps to register.
STEP 1 – REGISTER YOUR FAMILY MEMBERSHIP
All JSP families must have a current Tairua SLSC Family Membership through our new Friendly Manager platform.
Family Membership: $90 per family for the 2026/27 season.
Registering for the first time
Complete the Family Registration form and add all family members you wish to include in your membership.
For each family member, select the group or groups that apply to them, for example:
Parent/Guardian – for parents and caregivers
Junior Surf Programme – for children participating in JSP
Active Lifeguard – where applicable.
You can select more than one group for a family member if required.
Once you complete your first registration, Friendly Manager creates a profile for you and each family member you have registered.
If your child is included in your Family Membership and you have selected Junior Surf Programme for them, they do not need to complete another Club membership form.
Already registered your 2026/27 Family Membership?
If you have already completed your 2026/27 Family Membership through Friendly Manager, there’s no need to register again. We will arrange your JSP programme fee separately, so simply move on to Step 2 below to enrol your child/children in the Junior Surf Programme.
Junior Surf Programme (JSP) is Back this Summer
We’re looking forward to another amazing season of fun, sun, surf skills, and friendships on the beach.
STEP 2 – ENROL YOUR CHILD/CHILDREN IN JSP
Once you’ve sorted your Club membership, please complete our 2026/27 JSP Enrolment Form.
The JSP programme fee is $140 per child for the full programme, regardless of the number of days attended, plus the $90 Club Family Membership fee.
The enrolment form collects all the information we need for your children, including squad placement, availability and how your family can help support the programme.

PARENT & GUARDIAN SUPPORT
Junior Surf is very much a Club and family programme, and parent support plays an important part in helping us deliver JSP safely and successfully.
There are plenty of ways to help, both in the water and on the beach. The enrolment form lets you tell us how you’re able to help and where you’d prefer to assist.
We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the beach for another fantastic summer!
