Screen Time or Scream Time Workshop
Thursday 9th August 2018 - St Francis House Tairua
Screen time is said to be the biggest health issue facing this generation.
As parents and caregivers, it can be extremely hard to navigate. It's amazing how things can turn around when we get together and acknowledge the issue and look at ways we can address it!
On Thursday 9th August we are hosting an informative discussion evening looking at how we can positively manage screen time for our families. It is a free event and we think it's going to be most worthwhile! Excited to have Mr Brendan Finn as our guest speaker, he has some great stuff to share with us, Brett will share some insights into the best way to manage it technically and we will have time to chat and share what is working and not working in our families currently. Ideally we would like people to RSVP please so we can plan for the night. To RSVP, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Love to see you there!

There will be a variety of tracks for all ability levels. You will receive a MTB Park map as well as the navigation map. Good planning will be essential for the MTB stage as most of the tracks are 1-way. The Foot course will be a great aventure. It will utilise the surrounding forestry, native bush and farmland (and a little bit of swampland for the super keen). It also includes visiting the summit of a unique Whangamata mountain which most people have never been to!
